Job Description
A Community Internship with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Grand Rapids is a great opportunity to work directly with children ages 6 to 18 in a vibrant, high-energy environment. Community Interns will work alongside supportive, dedicated youth development professionals to provide fun and enriching summer activities for our community's youth.
Community Interns at Boys & Girls Clubs will assist adult staff in all areas of Club operations:
- Assist with various programs, including sports/recreation, fun reading and STEM activites, character and leadership, and community service projects.
- Assist with daily pre-opening Club preparation, periodic tidying and cleaning throughout the day.
- Assist with daily lunch and snack service.
- Assist in preparation of program materials and plans, as directed by regular Club staff
