Baxter’s mission is to be a Christian Response to Human Needs. We are located in the heart of the Baxter neighborhood, we strive to fulfill our mission through a variety of programs for neighbors of all backgrounds. At Baxter, you’ll find medical and dental services, a nationally accredited child development center, mentoring programs for young and old, community services (food, clothing, gardening and canning classes), and much more!

Baxter Community Center serves as a HUB to our community. A place where people are respected, honored, and valued. In the past we have participated in both CORR and Partners for a Racisms Free Community, and as we are going through our current organizational and leadership transition, we are using a local consultant that specializes in Equity work.
