Primary functions for this position include but are not limited to the following: inventory control, inventory counts, calculations, conduct quality control on all boxes that are sorted by volunteers, maintain weekly metrics by inputting data into Excel sheets. Unloading/loading trucks, product rotation, and cycle counting.
Transfer data from paper formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders or optical scanners.
Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.
Tracks product movement from the Food Banks/warehouses to our office location by checking all orders delivered/Picked up.
Responsible for reporting all order discrepancies and works with the warehouse to resolve.
Direct and supervise volunteers to sort through various food products to ensure we distribute quality food to the community.
