Company Information
Mobile GR is the City of Grand Rapids' consolidated transportation and mobility department. Our department operates 35 parking lots and ramps and manages more than 3,000 on-street parking spaces. We conduct parking enforcement operations. We manage the DASH bus. We maintain more than 200 City-owned traffic signals as well as an additional 500 signals owned by MDOT, Kent County, and surrounding cities and townships. We maintain more than 35,000 traffic and street signs. And we develop transportation and mobility polices and conduct multi-modal traffic engineering assessments, designs, and improvements. In short, we provide safe, efficient, and equitable mobility options to ensure all residents and visitors have better ways to access jobs, services, and amenities.

Numerous Rapid and DASH lines run near the 50 Ottawa location. The Rapid Route 18 stops outside of the 509 Wealthy location.
