Grand Rapids Public Library, a department of the city of Grand Rapids, is comprised of the Main
Library and seven branches. Each year, GRPL serves over one million visitors and circulates over 1.5 million items, making it the largest and most used cultural organization in Grand Rapids.

The materials, programs, and services offered by the library are free and open to the public.

GRPL has been providing access to information and diverse perspectives since 1871.
