Job Description

Assisting with a variety of projects/tasks department wide. All duties will be age/capability appropriate and do not require any special skills.

Locations will vary but will be announced well beforehand. Bus stops and public transit are possible at assigned locations.

Being bilingual is always a good thing as it adds versatility but it will not be required/necessary to perform any assigned duties.

There will also be some exposure to the firefighter's life on the job as this is in line with our department's Vision statement and with a potential future Cadet program where there may be opportunities for a more extensive internship with the GRFD. This will allow youths from this community to understand the firefighter occupation better after their summer working with the GRFD.
