(Archived) Assembly Intern

Last Updated: 2/01/22

Job Description

An Assembly Intern is part of a team that is responsible for supplying both internal and external customers with the correct parts and sub-assemblies. For external customers, this involves picking and checking parts orders and ensuring customers receive the proper items. For internal customers, this means supplying the system build team by building and stocking small pumps, air cylinders, valves, and other mechanical assemblies. These production work orders of 10-200 pieces are typically unsupervised, so an Assembly Intern must be self-motivated, organized, and independent. Maintaining a clean, neat and well-organized work area is critical. The ideal candidate would be:

  • Comfortable with a variety of mechanical hand tools

  • Adept using iPads and PC’s, including apps, email, and job tracking software

  • Detail oriented and committed to quality

  • Able to follow digital work instructions and understand technical drawings

This position has flexible hours and can also provide exposure through other areas of our manufacturing business, including shipping, receiving, machining, and accounting.
